21 Day Trip

DAY	ACTIVITY
Day 1	Arrival at Entebbe internaional airport, picked up by tour guide and driver. Guide briefs visitors on the trip after which a tour of the sarrounding areas especially the Botanical gardens in search of birds and primates is conducted.
Day 2	Early morning transfer to Mabamba in search of the Shoebill and other papyrus endemics and in the afternoon, transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Spend the night in Lake Mburo National Park
Day 3	Lake Mburo National Park. Bird in the morning for savanah species like the Long tailed Cisticola, Afinfot and Red Faced Barbet among others. Transfer to Mgahinga NP in the afternoon and spend the night in Kisoro Town.
Day 4	Bird Mgahinga NP for species like the Rwenzori Turaco, Ladgen's Bush-shrike, Scarlett tufted malachite sun bird, Dusky turtle dove, Cape Robin chat among others. Transfer to Ruhija in Bwindi National park in the evening and spend the night in Ruhija
Day 5	Bird Mubwindi swamp mainly in search for the African green bill, one of Africa's most sought after bird. Spend the Night in Ruhija.
Day 6	Bird Ruhija in the morning and then transfer to Buhoma in the afternoon birding enroute for species like the Western bronze naped Pidgeon, Gray Apalis, Black Bee eater, and the Petit Cuckoo-shrike. Spend the night in Buhoma.
Day 7	Spend the whole day tracking Gorillas. Spend the Nght in Buhoma
Day 8	Bird along the Buhoma main trail and later on to the water fall for the Kivu Ground thrush, white bellied Robin Chat, Short tailed Warbler, Grey-chested Illadopsis. Spend the night in Buhoma.
Day 9	Early morning transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP). Spend Night in the Mweya area.
Day 10	Bird QENP for species like Western bronze naped pidgeon, Shinning Blue King fisher, Red bellied Dwarf, black Wattled Hornbill and thereafter go for the famous launch Trip on the Kazinga Channel. Spend the Night in QENP.
Day 11	Early morning tour of the Maramagambo forest and in the afternoon, transfer to Kibale NP. Spend the night in Kibale.
Day 12	Bird Kibale in the morning and later in the afternoon, trek for chimps. Spend the night in Kibale.
Day 13	Transfer to Semiliki NP birding enroute and later bird around the hotsprings. Spend the night in Semiliki NP.
Day 14	Bird Kirumis river for the Red sided broadbill, Ituri Batis, Lemon-bellied Crombec, Shinning blue Kingfisher, African Cuckoo-hawk, Long-tailed hawk and later tour the Ox-bow lakes. Spend the night in Semiliki NP.
Day 15	Walk 11.6 Kms to River Semiliki in search for the White-throated blue Swallow then spend the night in Fort Portal Town.
Day 16	Transfer to Budongo Forest Reserve. Spend the nght in Budongo Forest Reserve.
Day 17	Bird the Budongo Royal mile for the Chocolate backed, blue breasted and African Dwarf Kind fishers. Spend the nght in Budongo Forest Reserve.
Day 18	Transfer to Murchison NP via the Escarpment. Spend the night in Murchison NP.
Day 19	Cross the River Nile for Game Drive in the morning and boat trip in the afternoon. Spend the night in Murchison NP.
Day 20	Transfer to Masindi birding via Kanio Pabidi and spend the night in Kolping.
Day 21	Transfer to Mabira, birding along the way. spend night in Mabira.
Day 22	Bird Mabira, time detrmined by your return flight.
