Buhoma Comunity Developement Association is running the above scheme Working hand in hand with Donors. These Donors are usually Tourists who come to track Mountain Gorillas or Birdwatch and thereafter pick interest in our endavours to provide quality education to the local children at primary (junior) school and secondary (high) school level by sponsoring a child. Though Anybody is welcome to sponsor a child.

This works perfectly when well co-ordinated by a central body, in this case, the Buhoma Community Development Association. There is a scheme in place for child sponsorship through BCDA and a list of orphans and needy children that need that special sponsor.

Though child sponsorship is the most by far the most important form of help, there are other areas that would also do with help. These include Construction of Classrooms, Purchase of Scholastic materials among other things.
